Typical treatment issues that I have experience in addressing in counseling with children & adolescents include:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Identity issues such as sexual identity, gender identity, racial identity
- Parent-child conflicts
- May include a home visit, school visit to observe child
- Consult with school personal, pediatricians and other professionals involved in your child’s life
- At least monthly meeting with parents (separate from your child) in order to provide a general update on the focus of counseling, your child’s progress, and to identify any concerns about your child.
